Objective: The objective of this study is to find out the success of Tubularized Incised Plate (Snodgrass) repair in pediatric patients with distal penile hypospadias at Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar. Methods: A prospective study of 80 patients who underwent Tubularized Incised Plate at Pediatric Surgical Ward, Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar from 16th August 2024 to 16th February 2025 under 12 years of age was conducted. Postoperative success like urinary stream, cosmetic appearance and complications like fistula, stenosis, and wound healing were assessed. Patients were followed-up for 2 months after surgery. Results: Out of 80 patients that were included in this study, 63 patients had successful results, with urinary meatus located at the tip of glans and a smooth urinary stream at follow-up. 12 patients presented with complications of Urethrocutaneous Fistula and 05 patients with meatal stenosis. Most patients were conservatively managed. Conclusion: Hypospadias is one of the most common anomalies in pediatric age group acquired by birth with various surgical techniques employed to correct the condition. The Snodgrass repair is widely regarded as an effective approach for repairing distal penile hypospadias. Our study proves that despite high number of patients in our setup at Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar, we are achieving relatively good outcomes with Snodgrass repair.
